Vacancy Details: •Post Name: Research Assistant •No. of Vacancies: 17 •Pay Scale: Rs. 9,300-34,800 •Grade Pay: Rs. 4,600 •Post Name: Laboratory Assistant •No. of Vacancies: 23 •Pay Scale: Rs. 5,200-20,200 •Grade Pay: Rs. 1,900 Job Location: Mumbai Eligibility Criteria for SSCWR Recruitment (2017): Educational Qualification:  For Research Assistant: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in  Civil/Mechanical Engineering accordingly from a recognised university. For Laboratory Assistant: Candidates must have passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised university. Age Limit (as on 24-09-2017):  For Research Assistant: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years For Laboratory Assistant: Minimum 21 years and Maximum 27 years Age Relaxation: Sr. No. Category of Candidates Relaxation of Age Permissible 1. SC/ST Candidates 05 years 2. OBC Candidates 03 years 3. Ex-servicemen 03 years 4. PWD Candidates 10 years Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Written Examination and Personal Interview.
